A working artist, Leslie Ann McQuaide is a core member of ANEM. Her commitment to the principles of ANEM and its legacy of Peace has been heavily influenced over many years by her teacher, Nina Palmieri.
In addition, she is grateful to her mentor, Dr. Tudor Marinescu, MD Phd., for showing her the healing pathways of the Red Road.

This one hour course offering is for individuals drawn to the creation of sacred sites in or near their homes for prayer, contemplation, protection and blessing.

Why do humans make altars and shrines? What within compels us to establish visual proof of our connection to something far greater than us? What are the essential elements, based on indigenous wisdom, that must be present in order to create sacred places that establish connection to the Divine and support an ongoing relationship with the Great Mystery?

How do we create shrines that invite and anchor our Ancestors’ Presence in our daily lives and around our homes? And what are the basic elements that strengthen and convert common space into sites grounded in deep meaning, Divine protection and consolation?

This mini-course on shrines and altars is intended for anyone who has ever made an altar or is new to altar creation. And it acts as a refresher course on the basic elements that are essential to establishing and maintaining sacred space. The intention of this course is to empower each of us to create unique personal altars, drawing upon our own histories and gifts, with the broader intention of dedicating those spaces to enhancing Divine connection throughout the planet.

– Location: The format is through Zoom, where you will be given access to a conference call number via email to tune in. This offering takes place through Zoom, and there is also an option to call in with Skype for international participants.
