I received the news yesterday about the shooting that occurred Monday on top of the Pyramid of the Moon in Teotihuacán, which killed one individual and injured several. I have spent many years studying on the sites of Teotihuacán with my beloved teachers and colleagues since 2002, and over the past 14 years I have led Power Journeys to these sacred sites, where I have expanded on my love for the truth, for the land as well as for the people/spiritual family that accompany this special area. These journeys have led me to my personal freedom and ignited my internal flame of passion and wisdom to dedicate myself to bring others here for their personal, as well as planetary evolution.
There is deep mysticism and mythology in connection to these unique Power Spots that we utilize for personal healing, growth in self awareness and to open one up to the pathway of understanding that we are more than who we have been conditioned to believe we are. In essence, we enter this sacred area with awareness to unravel the illusions of our separation from the Divine and have the pleasure and opportunity to meet the truth of who we are.
The Pyramid of the Moon beautifully represents the reflection of the light of the Divine. It is positioned so perfectly facing the Pyramid of the Sun and invites us to awaken to this true refection and remember the inherent light within. We have been so lost in the matrix of our minds and conditioning that we have forgotten who we truly are individually and collectively.
In contemplation of this most recent tragic event that has occurred and is impactful on many levels, I cannot help but feel the significance of this metaphor in this very moment in time. I think we can agree that currently the dream of the planet, a.k.a. the mass consciousness, has not only forgotten who we are, but has demonstrated behaviors and actions that depict the enhancement of duality consciousness, division, fear, and conflict. The level of insanity of the mind has increased, as well as the forces in opposition to the light, and this is reflected in the acts of violence and imbalance on the planet.
What then is being reflected to us through this event that occurred on the very spot where we are invited to look within and see the reflection of our light? On the external level, we can obviously see through the countless actions and recent events that on a mass scale humanity is divided and fearful. On the internal level, perhaps our attention is getting hooked into deeper fears, loss of recognition of who we truly are, where we are grasping at the external to validate our worth and survival.
Where then shall we go from here? Over the years my beloved teacher Don Miguel Ruiz many times has spoken that in order to heal the planet, we must first heal ourselves, that true justice begins within our own minds. This to me is an inspiration to step up to new levels within and do what it takes to find personal freedom and accountability, to dig in deep and discover the things that are standing in the way of fully expressing the essence of the truth/light/love of who we truly are. Only then can we gather together and co-create heaven on earth.
This is an invitation to do our work, to gather the sacred teachings based on truth and with self awareness apply the principles to become more aligned with impeccability. Rather than to blame the external world, we must take a deep dive into the internal landscape of our own consciousness with honesty and to do what it takes to be liberated.
We may utilize this very incident as an opportunity to take an honest look inside to see what comes up in response to the external world events, on a personal and collective level. Is our hyper/automatic response to blame another, to become a victim, to believe that we are helpless and finite beings? This is the moment to shed the illusions, to no longer believe that we are the history of the story that perpetuates our pain body and separation from Love. Rather, this is an opportunity to remember who we truly are, infinite beings having an earthy experience and are invited to wake up to this sacred remembrance, where we have the opportunity to shine our light, bring our love and presence forward to uplift the consciousness of humanity.
Let us take a moment to ponder this invitation and be brave spiritual warriors to do what it takes to embody the truth of who we are and to become a living message of love on the planet. This is the only way we can bring forth our healing, our sincere love to spread throughout the world, to emanate truth to humanity, to these sacred sites, to those who are mourning the loss of a loved one, and ultimately to alchemize the illusions that keep us from believing that we are not.
